The JWI Mobile App serves as a one-stop-shop platform for all Joyful Way Incorporated’s (‘Joyful Way’) activities, designed for the members and followers of the ministry. To achieve this purpose, and enhance this app’s usefulness to you, Joyful Way will collect some personal information from you. The personal data Joyful Way collects is the information you provide when you sign up on the JWI Mobile App. Sharing your photograph to be used as your display picture is optional. For followers of Joyful Way, providing your email address and phone number is optional.

Will Joyful Way share my information with third parties and/or use information from third parties?

The Joyful Way has partnered with iPay Solutions Ltd (‘iPay’) to serve as the payment platform for purchases made on the JWI Mobile App. Consequently, we will share your personal information with iPay. The personal information shared will be encrypted. In turn, iPay will provide us with the data pertaining to the use of their services when you make a purchase on the JWI Mobile App. The information exchanged between Joyful Way and iPay will be limited to that which is essential for the facilitating purchases on the JWI Mobile App.

What are your rights?

You have the right to request from us a copy of the data we hold of you.

You have the right to request that we correct your data that you believe is inaccurate.

You have the right to object to us processing your data under certain conditions.

You have the right to be notified if there are reasonable grounds for us to believe that your data has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person.

You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for any purpose or giving your data to any party.

If you would like to exercise your rights of access, rectification and objection, please contact us at techsupport@joyfulwayinc.com. We have one month to respond to you.

We may ask you to provide some information to enable us to confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data. This is a security measure to ensure that we do not disclose your personal data to unauthorised persons. We may also request for additional information to facilitate any request.

How long do we keep your information for?

Joyful Way will keep your information for as long as we need it to give you access to the JWI Mobile App and its services to fulfil the purpose described in this policy. This will also be the case with iPay. When we no longer need to use your information, you request that we remove your personal information, or to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, we will either remove it from our systems or depersonalise it so that we cannot identify you.

Is the information collected through the JWI Mobile App secure?

We are committed to taking all reasonable efforts and precautions to protect the information you share with us. We have physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to prevent unauthorised access, maintain data security, and correctly use your information. The personal information you share with us will be encrypted to prevent your data from being stolen, changed, or compromised. However, neither people nor security systems are foolproof, including encryption systems. In addition, people can engage in criminal activity, make mistakes or fail to follow set-down procedures and policies. Therefore, while we use reasonable efforts and precautions to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If applicable law imposes any non-disclaimable duty to protect your personal information, you agree that intentional misconduct will be the standard used to measure our compliance with that duty. Where your personal data is compromised, Joyful Way will inform you of the data breach within a reasonable time and its reasonable efforts to salvage the breach.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy and your use of the JWI Mobile App are governed by the laws of Ghana without regard to its conflict of laws provision. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in connection with any action or dispute arising between the parties under or in connection with this Privacy Policy.

By using the JWI Mobile App, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you should not sign up for and use the JWI Mobile App.  Continued use of the JWI Mobile App or following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy that do not significantly affect the use or disclosure of your personal information will mean that you accept those changes.

The JWI Mobile App uses cookies (session and persistent) to remember your activity and preferences so that your experience can be personalized, through authentication and tracking. We use Cookies to enhance the performance and functionality of the app but are non-essential to its use. However, without these cookies, certain functionalities like videos may become unavailable. Most web browsers can be set to disable the use of Cookies. However, if you disable Cookies, you may not be able to access functionality on the JWI Mobile App correctly or at all. We never place personally identifiable information in Cookies.

We may change our policies, and we may need to make changes to this Privacy Policy so that they accurately reflect our policies. Unless otherwise required by law, we will notify you before we make changes to this Privacy Policy and give you an opportunity to review them before they go into effect.
