Letter To The Church – Unedited

Dear Church,

It is amazing that you, today, are in the front seat driving people by their greed and selfishness to fight for the things the world desires and reveres: fame, fortune, etc.

When we legalise and skew scripture to satisfy the lust of the flesh and eyes and the pride of life, how do we bring up people who love the Lord and are willing to suffer and die for His sake? Jesus Christ my Lord didn’t die to give me something that hard work can provide. For that would be the greatest insult to His sacrifice (Eph 2:8-9 KJV), and I hope with this you also agree.

Take your time and read 1 Tim 6:1-10 KJV, 2 Peter 2:1-22 KJV and remind yourself of what brother Paul and Peter has told us in the past.

What else do these “Shepherds” promote but the turning of our Sovereign Father in heaven into spiritual ATM in the sky, who has nothing better to do than fulfil our wants and desires just because we have the pin code “In Jesus name”?

Their sermons are only full of what you can get from God and what God has the right to give you. They cause us to focus on ourselves and indulge in worldly lust, causing us to forget that the first and subsequent steps of Christianity are taken in self-denial and godly obedience and dependence.

Such abominations must cease, because if their words were true then the Apostles and Patriarchs of the early church were cheated and ripped off, because some died horrible deaths for the sake of the gospel; some fell ill in prisons while others were fried in oil.

Funny though, these leaders fail on the level of personal holiness and discipline; cannot control their homes, sleeping with their members and failing in their marriages. If you think these categories are irrelevant then remind yourself of I Timothy 3:1-16 KJV.

I’m not saying be poor, but rather work hard with honesty, be smart and, glorify God with your work and He will bless you. “But the only way you can have your best life now, is if you’re going to Hell”- Dr. John MacArthur. [no two ways about it].

They always mention “impact” this “kingdom impact”that! But there is no greater impact than preaching and living the gospel. And guess what, there is going to be great opposition and obstacles to your message, the greatest one being yourself. That is why we have the Holy Spirit who from the beginning of our walk, convicts us of sin and through scripture, sanctifies us, changing us gradually into the image of Christ. (II Corinthians 3:18 KJV). I admonish you to be diligent with scripture for the times are evil and will get more deceptive. (II Timothy 4:1-4 KJV, II Timothy 2:14-16 KJV)

Finally brethren, contend for the faith delivered to us (Jude 3 KJV). I am a part of you so please don’t be deaf to my words. After all, disagree with me all you want but the Truth is single and absolute, and judgement will be based on God’s standards and not our excuses.
